  • "GetMaster" refers to GetMaster (Elias Build Limited).
  • "Website" refers to the https://www.getmaster.co.uk internet site.
  • "User" refers to persons using the Website for any reason.
  • "Service Requester" refers to a natural or legal person User who submits a Service Request via the Website.
  • "Service Provider" refers to an individual, organisation, or legal entity that creates a Professional Profile on the Website to provide services.
  • "Service Request" refers to a service request published on the Website by the Service Requester to receive Quotes from one or more Service Providers.
  • "Quote" refers to the offer sent by the Service Provider in response to the Service Requester's Service Request to provide services for a certain amount.
  • "Agreed Job" refers to the acceptance of a Quote by the Service Requester via the system.

1.3. By using the Website to request a service, the User is deemed to have accepted and agreed to comply with these terms.

1.4. GetMaster reserves the right to unilaterally change or amend these conditions, provided they are not to the detriment of the Users, to ensure the continuity of its intermediary services, for future technical necessities, or to comply with legislation.

2. GUARANTEE DEFINITION

2.1. These guarantee conditions have been established to cover damages directly caused by third-party Service Providers to Service Requesters while providing the service they committed to (the Agreed Job).

2.2. The scope of these guarantee conditions is limited to cases requiring the repair or replacement of damaged property, or covering medical expenses arising from physical injury or disability of the claimant or third parties.

3. GUARANTEE PERIOD

3.1. The preferred quote must be selected through GetMaster before the service begins and within 30 days of the request date.

3.2. The damage for which compensation is requested under the guarantee must have occurred within 6 months from the date the Agreed Job started. Furthermore, the situation must be reported to GetMaster in writing within 72 hours after the damage occurs. Damages not reported to GetMaster within 72 hours will not be covered.

4. CLAIM PROCESS

4.1. Service Requesters wishing to benefit from the guarantee compensation must fill out the form in our Help Centre. Our team will contact the user within 48 hours.

4.2. We aim to conclude the review process of the claim within 1 month. This period may vary depending on the extent of the damage, the communication process with the user and the service provider, and the documentation provided.

5. CONDITIONS FOR BENEFITING FROM THE GUARANTEE

  • The Service Requester must have a user account on GetMaster.
  • Before submitting a claim, the request for compensation must first be directed to the Service Provider, and the Service Requester must have made a reasonable effort to resolve the issue directly.
  • If the damage also constitutes a criminal offence, a complaint must have been filed with law enforcement, and copies of relevant reports must be shared with GetMaster.
  • Documents proving ownership and value of the damaged property, and evidence that the damage was directly caused by the Service Provider during the Agreed Job, must be shared with GetMaster (e.g., purchase invoices, repair bills, photos, videos).

6. SITUATIONS NOT COVERED BY THE GUARANTEE

6.1. Defective Goods and Defective Services as defined in the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are outside the scope of this guarantee. All responsibilities arising from Defective Goods and Services lie with the Service Provider.

6.2. The following properties, goods, and products are excluded from the GetMaster Guarantee coverage:

7. COMPENSATION

7.1. The compensation amount to be covered by GetMaster is limited to £1,000 for damage to the Service Requester's property and £1,000 for medical damages to the Service Requester or third parties.

7.2. If GetMaster decides to provide compensation, the lowest cost among repair, replacement, or the value of the work will be compensated.

7.3. If the Service Requester has already received partial compensation from other sources (e.g., the service provider, insurance), this amount will be deducted from the compensation provided by GetMaster.

8. OTHER GUARANTEES AND INSURANCE

8.1. The GetMaster Guarantee is not an insurance policy. It does not replace homeowner's, professional, public liability, or other necessary insurance policies.

9. GETMASTER'S RIGHT OF RECOURSE AND PAYMENT AGREEMENT

9.1. If GetMaster decides to make a guarantee payment, the Service Requester must sign a Payment and Release Agreement. This agreement includes provisions for GetMaster's right to take legal action against the responsible Service Provider and requires the Service Requester's cooperation.
